This £33,000 sports car burst into flames as it was taken out on a test run, firefighters said.
The aluminium frame at the front of the car had melted away by the time the Bradford crew got to Parry Lane, Bowling, following a call from the driver of the Audi TTS.
Crew manager Jarrod Stoney said the cause of the fire was under investigation. He said: “We were called by the driver. It wasn’t the owner of the car who was driving it, it was out on a test run.
“He said flames were coming up round his feet so he stopped, got out and called us. By the time we got there the front was totally engulfed.”
