A Skipton church is hoping to set up home in a former furniture shop.
Christ Harvest Church wants to convert the former Ledgard and Wynn shop at High Corn Mill into a place of worship and has organised a consecration ceremony for Monday at 6.30pm.
The church, set up in March last year by pastors Joshua and Reeba Samuel, has about 40 members and has met every Sunday at The Rendezvous Hotel.
Craven District Council has to make a decision on the plans by Monday, May 11.
