Trainee firefighters rolled their sleeves up for a charity car wash at West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service headquarters at Birkenshaw, Bradford, on Saturday.
More than 30 recruits on the 190th trainee course, along with their course instructors, washed cars in exchange for a £3 donation to Cancer Research UK.
Watch manager Tony Wilson, trainee instructor, said: “The previous trainee course raised almost £800 when they held a car wash back in November, so we were hoping to smash that target.”
