African dancers dressed in traditional Zulu outfits have entertained pupils at St Columba’s Catholic Primary School.
The group, which goes by the name of the Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company, originate from the Kingdom of KwaZulu Natal.
As an educational eight-piece, they tour schools across the world to perform and hold workshops in drama, music and dance.
They visited the Tong Street, Bradford, school to round off the school’s African week.
The focus of the week was literacy and children were tasked with writing stories incorporating African culture.
Pictured with two of the Zulu dancers are Sonny Thompson, nine, Szymon Surowiec, ten, Adam Gruppetta, eight, and (front) Thomas Duffy, ten. The Zulus are Nokulunga Zikhali and Craig Dube.
