Pupils at Wibsey Primary showed Bulls captain Paul Deacon and fellow player Matt Brooks just how it’s done by hoisting high the Super League trophy.
Arch-rivals Leeds Rhinos may be the current champions but young Bradford fans got their hands on the sparking silverware as part of the RFL’s trophy tour.
“We do this at the start of every Super League season,” said an RFL spokesman.
“As well as Bradford, the trophy’s being taken to areas such as London and Wales, and it’s all about giving youngsters and supporters the chance to get up close to the most important prize in Super League.
“We’ve had a great re-action from everywhere we’ve gone and it was no different at Wibsey Primary.
“The majority of children there were Bulls fans. They’ll be hoping to see the trophy in the hands of Bulls skipper Paul Deacon come October.”
