Fire crews were called to the Ciba plant in Bradford tonight after reports of a chemical spill.
Fire Crews from Odsal and Bradford were deployed at the chemical factory on Cleckheaton Road, Low Moor, at 9pm. Hazardous materials teams from the Fire and Rescue Service and Ambulance Service also attended.
Station Manager Chris Clarke, of West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Headquar-ters, said: “We are informed that there has been a small spillage on the site.
“There is no danger off-site to members of the public.”
Company chemists dealt with the incident. It is not known how the spillage occurred.
