A 49-year-old male pedestrian was in a critical condition in hospital today after he was in an accident with a bus in Laisterdyke, Bradford, yesterday afternoon.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident which occurred in Leeds Road at the junction with Planetrees Road at 12.05pm.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 49-year-old man was in collision with a double decker bus which was travelling towards the city centre at the time.
"The man was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious injuries where he is in a critical condition."
