Children and young people in care were the toast of a Bradford Council ceremony designed to recognise their educational achievements tonight.
The Lord Mayor, Councillor Howard Middleton, presented the awards at the ceremony, which was organised by Education Bradford and the Council’s Children’s Services Department.
The ceremony in City Hall was the first of two such events, with the second taking place on Monday in the same venue at 5.30pm.
This is the twelfth annual Education Achievement Awards Ceremony. The children and young people received certificates and gift vouchers. Guests included family and friends of the young people.
