Female engineers – and their male counterparts – have gathered to mark the success of Fairer, the women’s engineering society at University of Bradford.
Fairer (Females Actively Involved in Rewarding Engineering Roles) has played a key role in ensuring more women sign up to engineering courses at the institution.
To highlight their work, members and male colleagues enjoyed music, dancing and food during an event which coincided with One World Week.
Joanne Crowther, external relations and marketing officer for the university’s School of Engineering, Design and Technology, said: “This is the second International Fairer Feast which coincides with One World Week at the university.
“All staff and students in EDT were invited to bring and share a dish and music from their homeland and wear national dress.”
