A mother proved herself a winner when it comes to using real nappies.

Celine Michonneau, of Cottingley, won £25 of Mothercare vouchers in a Bradford Council competition to find out more about residents’ attitudes to reusable nappies.

She was one of more than 100 mothers who filled in a questionnaire about the Real Nappy Initiative in Bradford which encourages more parents to give them a try. Real nappies help the Council cut the amount of waste that goes to landfill.

The Council works with Bradford Environmental Action Team to promote real nappies, including offering free kits to families expecting a baby or who have one under six months old.
