Special school pupils took part in an enterprising event at Odsal Stadium today.
Youngsters from Braithwaite and Branshaw schools in Keighley joined peers from Lister Lane and Wedgewood schools in Bradford to learn about trade and commerce and make friends.
Sophia Khan, from the Children’s University, which organised the day alongside Keighley firm Link Telecom and Bradford Kickstart, said: “It was all about young people being more enterprising and being pushed.
“They took part in team activities which saw them trade fictional food and clothes before taking part in a world trade event in the afternoon in which they were responsible for trading goods.
“They all loved it. It was the first event of its kind we have done with special schools and it was so successful we plan to do it again.”
