A man has died after he became trapped between two vans at the premises of a Bradford business.
The incident happened at about 4.30pm yesterday at Patchett Homes Ltd in Highgate Road, Clayton Heights.
Fire crews from Odsal and Fairweather Green attended the incident.
Police were also called to the scene and have now passed the matter on to the Health and Safety Executive, the body responsible for regulating safety in the workplace.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “We got a call at 4.30pm to a premises in Highgate Road.
“A man was seriously injured in an industrial accident.
“This is no longer a police matter as it has been passed on to the Health and Safety Executive.”
A spokesman for property developers Patchett Homes confirmed that the incident had taken place on the company’s premises but was not prepared to make further comment at this stage.
The identity of the dead man was not being disclosed until relatives had been informed.
