Four people have been charged after two men were subjected to a “sustained assault” on Sunday morning.
West Yorkshire Police cordoned off a snicket just off Ravenscliffe Avenue, Eccleshill, following the incident which left the two men with serious injuries.
The injured men have been named locally as Andrew Bedford and Steve Bedford, and they are not believed to be related.
One of the men remains in a critical condition and the other is stable after surgery.
A 32-year-old man from Ravenscliffe and a 21-year-old man from Thorpe Edge were last night charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and a 34-year-old woman from Ravenscliffe and a 23-year-old woman from Thorpe Edge were charged with perverting the course of justice.
They were all due to appear at Bingley Magistrates’ Court this morning.
