A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 45-year-old man who was due to be sentenced for fraud at Bradford Crown Court today.
Patrick Duffy, of Barden Terrace, Armley, Leeds, previously admitted to dishonestly making false representations in charging a Shipley pensioner £1,200 for gardening work, but he failed to answer bail.
Judge Roger Scott issued an arrest warrant when Duffy failed to appear.
His solicitor told the court he had been speaking to his client at the court before he disappeared.
