Targeted police action in response to public concerns has led to a reduction in anti-social behaviour and off-road biking in part of Bradford.
In Heaton, officers say high-visibility patrols and the deployment of a specialist off-road bike team have resulted in fewer incidents, particularly around Haworth Road.
Officers have issued Section 59 warnings and seized vehicles, while increased reporting from residents has helped police build a clearer intelligence picture for targeted enforcement.
This proactive policing approach has improved community engagement, with residents reporting feeling more reassured and supported.
Between 6pm and midnight, focused patrols have also reduced anti-social behaviour linked to vehicles and drug misuse.
Officers have gathered intelligence on key individuals and vehicles, leading to disruption visits and further enforcement action.
"We encourage you to keep reporting these incident this is your community," said a spokesperson.
Collaboration with local businesses has improved intelligence sharing, enabling the earlier identification of incidents and faster response times.
Positive engagement has also been seen with students and schools to reduce youth-related anti-social behaviour in the area.
