MORE than 40 people enjoyed a tea party at Keighley’s Salvation Army Citadel.
The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Keighley & Worth Valley and was held on Sunday, May 17.
Guests from Carelink Befrienders and Silverlink Over 50s were treated to an afternoon of traditional tea provided by the Rotarians.
Entertainment was provided by the Salvation Army Band and keyboard soloist Jonathan Crossley.
The band played a selection of hymns and tunes, while Mr Crossley performed hits from the 1950s and 1960s.
The afternoon concluded with members of the Rotary Club demonstrating the 1960s dance craze, the Twist.
The club president, Liz Joyce, praised the community spirit at the event.
She said: "Contributing to our community is an important part of being a Rotarian and there was a fantastic atmosphere at the party.
"In fact, the Rotarians enjoyed themselves just as much at the guests."
