A SPECIAL event focused on creativity, connection and change is set to take place in the city.

Bradford Nightstop is hosting a youth homelessness consultation event at Bradford Arts Centre from 4pm to 6.30pm on Thursday, May 21.

The evening will bring together young people, including those with lived experience of homelessness, along with supporters and volunteers.

Naeema Nalban, development worker at Bradford Nightstop, said: "This event will bring people together, raising awareness and create opportunities for support and collaboration within our community.

"We’re excited to welcome the community of Bradford, local organisations and supporters to learn more about the work being done to help young people in Bradford."

Guests will be invited to take part in networking, creative activities and interactive sessions.

A performance by young local actors will highlight the real-life challenges of homelessness.

Additional attractions throughout the evening will include a smoothie bike, bouquet making, creative art sessions and film.

The event will also showcase referral agencies and support services available across Bradford.

Bradford Nightstop provides emergency accommodation and support for 18 to 25-year-olds facing homelessness.

Young people will receive a free goody bag.

Anyone wishing to bring a group of young people is asked to email administrator@bradfordnightstop.org.uk.
