Check out the good-looking pork pie with poultry and sage stuffing and a cranberry or apricot topping. Just as they are all about chickens, they are all about eggs. Yolk Cafe serves up eggs just as you like them - and there’s also an outdoor pizza oven as well a children’s play barn, and dog walking field and farm animals.

A big shining food star which showcases amazing food and drink from farmers across Yorkshire. Profits are fed back to the farmers and countryside via the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. The food hall is a place you can do your weekly shop, browse gifts for gourmets or bring your Christmas shopping list and get everything from the turkey and trimmings to craft beer and artisan gins. Often there are tastings from suppliers and always plenty of advice from the butchery team. In the cafe feast on a Yorkshire deli platter, hearty pie or bacon butty for shopping sustenance. On December 4 join a cooking masterclass to perfect the ultimate festive spread.

Mainsgill Farm Shop has grown steadily over the past three decades to become one of the largest farm retail operations in the North of England. Established in 1997 as a converted garage selling home-reared meat, the business now farms over 1,200 acres. The ground floor farmshop is brimming with the local and unique foods. Zero food miles from home reared produce and made in house.
It is home to a bakery, butchery counter, deli and cafe. Upstairs there’s a huge clothing and gift area with brands such as Emma Bridgewater, Joules and Barbour.

If you’re heading to Bolton Abbey, the new-look village shop in the heart of the estate is worth a visit.
It has recently undergone a major refurbishment and has an ethos of championing Yorkshire producers and artisan craftsmanship.
You’ll find the store bursting with fresh food and giftware, as well as new stock from the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop.
These additions include favourites like Chatsworth Heather Honey, Duchess’s Lime Marmalade with Pineapple, English Apple Juice, and Duck Rillette.
A new ‘grab & go’ coffee bar is the perfect spot way to warm up after a walk around the Bolton Abbey Estate.

Hinchliffe’s and The Rusty Bull
Located in Huddersfield, Hinchcliffe’s draws on nearly 100 years of experience.
The farm began life in 1929, while the farm shop opened its doors in 1974.
Today, you’ll find home-reared beef, award-winning pies, plus sausages and bacon from the butchery, freshly baked bread and cakes from the on-site bakery, as well as eggs straight from the farm. On-site restaurant, The Rusty Bull, serves up mouth-watering delights throughout the day.
The breakfast menu includes full breakfasts, as well as ‘on toast’ options, from creamy scrambled eggs with nduja to sauteed wild mushrooms.
On the a la carte menu, you’ll find restaurant classics, gourmet burgers, speciality sandwiches, and more.

This family-owned butcher’s and café is set in the rolling hills of Cragg Vale in Hebden Bridge.
It prides itself on providing locally-sourced, high-quality fresh meat. Pies are made daily at Craggies’ on-site bakery, using meat from the in-house butchery.
You’ll also find freshly baked bread, cakes, and puddings. Head to the café and take in countryside views over the moors, or head to the farm shop to stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables.

Set over three sites, two in Thornton, Bradford, and one in Skipton, Robertshaw’s has been producing and selling fresh food since 1929.
Back then, potatoes and vegetables were sold at the side of the road. Now, the business includes an award-winning butcher's, delicatessen, greengrocers, and larder. Its bakery produces pies, confectionery, and what it describes as its ‘famous Yorkshire puddings’.
In Thornton, on the doorstep of Bronte Country, you’ll find a garden centre and takeaway alongside the farm shop, while its café and bakery are just down the road. Head to Skipton for the same wide range of products, as well as a restaurant which uses ingredients fresh from its butchery, deli, and shop.
