A DRIVER returning from "living in warmer climes" failed to get properly insured.

West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling anti-social and dangerous driving - posted on X today about a car officers seized.

A white Citroen was stopped by the team on Rawdon Road, in Haworth.

Checks showed the driver was not properly insured on the vehicle.

A spokesperson for the Steerside Team said: "The driver had recently returned from living in warmer climes but failed to get properly insured before taking to the UK roads again."

Officers seized the vehicle as a result and the driver was reported.
