Bradford-based Sovereign Health Care has made an £8,000 donation to Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The money will be split between funding for the Trust and a nurses’ training grant.
Neil McCallum, Sovereign’s chief executive, presented the cheque to the Trust’s chief nurse, Karen Dawber.
Ms Dawber said: "On behalf of the Trust, I would like to say a huge thank you to Sovereign Health Care for their generous donation and continued support of nursing here at Bradford.
"Last year’s generous donation enabled us to resource our professional practice model and bespoke training.
"This year we want to use the donation to further build links between our nursing and midwifery teams and our communities.
"We will be providing four £1,000 grants that colleagues can apply for to visit other communities and countries to see how healthcare is delivered.
"We hope this will help to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion and reduce health inequalities."
Mr McCallum said: "Sovereign Health Care has been providing regular financial support to our local hospitals for over 150 years.
"We’re proud that this latest donation will help ensure that NHS staff can access valuable training and development to help to reduce health inequalities."
