TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing.
West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Barlow Street, Barkerend, at around 10.30pm on Monday to reports a man was unconscious with stab wounds.
A 23-year-old man - Luqman Ishfaq - was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said that prior to the stabbing, they had established that an incident of violent disorder took place on Barkerend Road involving a VW Golf which was occupied by Mr Ishfaq.
In a statement this morning, West Yorkshire Police said: "Two men, aged 26 and 28 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"They both remain in police custody at this time.
"A number of scenes remain on this morning including Barlow Street and Barkerend Road whilst forensic examination is carried out."
