A new podcast, sharing the stories of women of colour who are making a difference in their communities and fields, is set to launch.
The series, called Beyond The Realms of The Field, is from Bradford-based Sports Campaign Against Racism (SCAR).
It will focus on notable women's personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs.
The first episode will feature Fozia Naseem, a sports entrepreneur and one of Cycling UK’s Top 100 Women in Cycling.
Through a combination of cycling, yoga, and neuro-linguistic programming, Ms Naseem seeks to motivate and develop the confidence of individuals.
She said: "I am honoured to be part of Beyond The Realms of The Field and share my story alongside so many amazing women.
"This podcast provides a powerful space for our voices, experiences, and journeys to be heard, and I hope that my story and those of other women can inspire listeners to see beyond barriers and pursue their passions with confidence."
Dr Ikram Butt, executive director of SCAR, said: "This podcast is a celebration of the inspiring women of colour who are not only breaking stereotypes but also leading and transforming their communities in extraordinary ways."
The podcast is supported by GiveBradford, Manza, and Regal Food Products Group Plc.
