A CHARITY walk has raised more than £4,000 for Prostate Cancer Research.
The walk was organised by Yeadon man Reid Haddow, who is a survivor of prostate cancer and now organises fundraising events to help the charity.
The 5km walk took place on September 8, starting and finishing at Kirkgate Arcade in Otley.
The event was sponsored by Prostate Cancer Research, Otley Rotary Club, Kirkgate Arcade and various other business local businesses.
Reid thanked everyone who supported the walk, which raised a total of £4,400.
Each year, 11,500 men die from prostate cancer.
Prostate Cancer Research is dedicated to creating new treatments for the disease.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality."
