A MAN has been charged in connection with series of burglaries in Bradford city centre, including a popular bookstore.
Liam Stoyles, of no fixed abode, has been charged with a total of nine burglaries across the Bradford district.
The 29-year-old was remanded into custody and appeared at Bradford Magistrates' Court today.
The charges relate to burglaries in August and September including several businesses in the city centre.
One of these was the Waterstones in The Wool Exchange earlier this week.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police investigating a series of burglaries across Bradford district have charged a man.
"Liam Stoyles, 29, of no fixed abode, has been charged with a total of nine burglaries across Bradford district."
They added: "The charges relate to a number of burglaries in August and September this year including a number of businesses in the city centre.
"One of those was in relation to a burglary overnight on September 3 at a business premise on Hustlergate, Bradford.
"These charges come after an investigation by Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing team and Bradford District Crime team."
