A BRADFORD restaurant with a "loyal customer following" and a "strong reputation" has gone up for sale.
Classic Persian Restaurant, in Little Horton Lane, has been brought to the market by Ernest Wilson, almost a decade on from when it first opened in 2015.
It is up for offers around £310,000.
Ernest Wilson announced the "wonderful opportunity" on its Facebook page.
The post said: "A wonderful opportunity to acquire this long-established and well-respected restaurant, started by our clients in 2015.
"Over the years it has built a strong reputation with a loyal customer following."
This is reflected in the comments on the post, as well as the fact the eatery is ranked 12th out of 379 restaurants in Bradford on Tripadvisor and has a 4.7 star rating from 2,160 Google reviews.
Multiple people responded saying Classic Persian is the "best restaurant in Bradford", while one person said they were "gutted", and another added, "great food and friendly staff, so sorry to see you go."
One commenter said, "hope they get a bigger place in Bradford", and another surmised, "must be moving to bigger premises. Beautiful food."
Ernest Wilson said: "The premises occupy a prime trading position on the fringe of the city centre - highly visible site with masses of footfall."
Classic Persian Restaurant has a "strong turnover" of £22,000 to £26,000 each week from just 38 trading hours, according to the business agents.
It is unlicensed and instead allows customers to bring in their own alcohol.
Ernest Wilson believes the business has "oozing potential for enthusiastic new owners to introduce an alcohol licence to significantly increase trade".
The restaurant has 17 staff members, according to its latest accounts, published by Companies House on July 29.
The building itself used to be a pub and boasts its own private car park.
A ground-floor entrance leads to an "immaculately presented" restaurant, which overlooks an open kitchen area.
Meanwhile, the first floor has a drinks serving area, which leads to a second eating zone, centred around a feature blossom tree.
The building has two large kitchens and food preparation areas, a separate pot wash to the rear, ladies, gents, and disabled toilets, a staff room/office, a toilet for staff, dry store rooms, and a walk-in cold store.
