A MAN who assaulted a police officer and a PCSO at Leeds Bradford Airport has been sentenced.
Connor Moyse, 20, faced two charges of assault by beating an emergency worker and one charge of the common assault of an emergency worker.
Court records state that on October 4, 2023, he assaulted a PCSO at Leeds Bradford Airport – the common assault of an emergency worker charge – and also assaulted a police constable at the airport on the same date – one of the assault by beating an emergency worker charges.
On that same date, he also assaulted another police constable at Elland Road police station – the second assault by beating an emergency worker charge.
Moyse, of Hopkins Walk, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, was sentenced at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on May 14.
He was given a one-year community order. In that time, he must carry out 140 hours of unpaid work.
He has also been ordered to pay compensation.
