POLICE have confirmed a man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a reported stabbing in a residential area of Bradford.
The incident happened outside a property on Bank, Eccleshill, shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
West Yorkshire Police said officers attended the scene and found a man in his 40s with "what appeared to be several stab wounds".
The man was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, according to officers.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody today while enquiries continue.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said this morning: "At 5.35pm yesterday, police received a report of a stabbing which had occurred outside an address in Bank, Eccleshill.
"Officers attended and found a man in his 40s with what appeared to be several stab wounds.
"He was taken to hospital for further treatment.
"His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempt murder and remains in custody today.
"Bradford District CID is continuing enquiries."
