MORRISONS staff at two of its warehouses are set to go on strike over pensions.
Workers at the Bradford-based company's Wakefield and Cheshire hubs - including stock controllers, cooks, canteen staff, and administrators - have voted overwhelmingly to take industrial action, according to the Unite union.
Unite claimed changes to Morrisons pensions would leave workers around £500 worse off a year.
The union also claimed other moves by the supermarket giant would include "enforced" changes to jobs roles and the loss of a service reward.
The strike action will take place between May 23 and 26, and then again from June 13 to 16.
Unite national officer Adrian Jones said: "Despite our best efforts over a number of meetings, it seems that Morrisons are not interested in resolving this dispute as they have refused to negotiate over the changes to our members' pensions and long service awards."
Mr Jones said the union had raised several other issues with Morrisons to try and find a way forward "but to no avail".
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted Morrisons for a comment.
