A TEENAGER has been arrested after armed police were called to an incident on a Bradford street.

West Yorkshire Police said officers attended a property on Back Stone Hall Road in Eccleshill, shortly before 1pm yesterday amid reports of an "ongoing disturbance".

Yesterday, the police spokesperson said: "Armed officers were deployed to the scene.

"No injuries have been reported and the occupants of the address are being safeguarded."

They said enquiries were ongoing.

A force spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus this morning that a 15-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody.

Witnesses described hearing a police helicopter circling over the area for more than an hour.
