A NEW restaurant celebrated its grand launch on Broadway in Bradford city centre over the weekend by handing out more than 100 free burgers.
IceBurg, which also has a location in Preston, can be found in the former Haute Dolci unit.
Along with its popular Angus beef burgers and loaded fries, the brand sells shakes, icetails, and churros.
"It was really good. We sold more than 100 free burgers," said a spokesperson for IceBurg.
"The queue was there and we were quite busy. It was a good response.
"We handed out some review cards and there were performers in the store too.
"We got a really good positive response."
business has been going well since its soft launch on April 15 but wanted to encourage more visitors to come in the evenings.
The restaurant, which opens 11am to 11pm seven days a week, saysThey added: "It has been quite busy during the lunch hours. A lot of people come in at lunchtime.
"We need to push for people to come during the evening as well."
Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, added: "It’s a fantastic addition to the centre and I already know it will prove very popular with our shoppers.”
