WITH a unique Bradford gym celebrating its one-year anniversary, we decided to check it out.

Last April, teenager Rob Stoves opened Muscle Bound in Beckside Business Park, off Beckside Road.

Compared to many commercial gyms, Muscle Bound is like a different world.

The huge 16,000-square-foot site gives customers access to not only a range of equipment but services.

There are around 30 machines per body part at Muscle Bound and we tried out several of them.

Targeting chest, the T&A tested the specially-made powerlifting bench press and the Cybex Eagle.

Both provided great range of motion and the ability to pile on the Rouge cast iron plates - especially if you are looking to execute some heavy one-rep maxes.

If purely building muscle is your goal, look no further than this Bradford gym.

"It is going really well now and is picking up a lot.

"It has been a steady growth for the last 12 months. And it is still growing today."

"We have invested heavily in brands from America, Italy, and the rest of Europe.

"Certain brands you can't get any more or only in America.

"We have spoken a lot about getting those rare pieces in here so we can cater for everyone. It is a unique selling point."
