Three mums who celebrated their 40th birthdays together have raised more than £1,100 for Burnley hospital’s neonatal unit.
Among them was Amy whose twin boys, Ethan and Spencer, were born prematurely at just 25 weeks in 2020 and spent more than 15 weeks in the unit.
Their older daughter, Harriet, also received care from the NICU.
Amy said: “These were two completely different experiences but two really positive ones.
"This is where my passion for the fundraising came because my three babies received such amazing care."

Last month, it was the joint 40th birthdays of mums Amy, Sara, and Jo and they decided to help make a difference by raising funds in aid of ELHT&Me to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The parents raised £1,176.05 for the official charity of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
A spokesperson for ELHT&Me said: “Donations like this enable us to provide enhanced facilities, bring aspirational medical equipment and those all-important added extras which are all above and beyond what can ordinarily be achieved through NHS funding alone."
ELHT&Me is dedicated to enhancing patient care and experience across the Trust's hospitals.
