THE rider of a large quad bike which was being ridden in an anti-social way in Bradford has been issued with a warning by police.
Officers with West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team stopped the rider and their vehicle in the Manningham area.
A spokesperson from the team said: "This vehicle was being ridden in an anti-social manner on Queen's Road.
"The rider was issued with a Section 59 warning and reported to Safer Bradford for a breach of the Vehicular Nuisance Public Space Protection Order."
Section 59 powers allow police to give people a warning if they are reported to have used their vehicle in a manner which causes "alarm, distress or annoyance".
West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team works across Bradford district, deploying officers seven days a week in cars and on bikes to tackle crimes on our roads.
