A BURLEY-IN-WHARFEDALE man who has links to Otley is wanted by police for stalking, harassment and assault offences.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for help to track down a wanted West Yorkshire man for suspected stalking, harassment and assault offences in the Thirsk area.

Paul Curtis, 36, whose last known address was in Burley-in-Wharfedale, has been "evading the police for a month" after complaints were made about his behaviour, according to a spokesperson for the force.

It is believed he has contacts in the Otley, Pontefract and Featherstone areas.

West Yorkshire Police is assisting with the appeal.
