STRONG winds are causing some disruption at Leeds Bradford Airport today.

A passenger due to be flying with Ryanair to Gdansk at 2.35pm told the Telegraph & Argus her flight had been cancelled.

The Ryanair departure to Dublin at 1.05pm was also showing as delayed.

Meanwhile, two Aer Lingus flights to Belfast - one at 12.10pm and another at 3.45pm - have also been cancelled.

The UK is expected to record its warmest day of the year so far today - but Storm Kathleen is also bringing strong winds to parts of the country.

A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for the west coast of England, Wales and southern Scotland, as well as the whole of Northern Ireland.
