ANOTHER uninsured car has been taken off the streets in the Bradford district.
Police in Shipley said they stopped the vehicle in question today.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Checks conducted showed the driver did not hold a valid policy of insurance.
"The car was seized and the driver has been reported for the offence.
"A file will be prepared for court."
It is illegal to drive a vehicle on a road or in a public place without at least third-party insurance.
The police can check on the spot if your vehicle is insured using the Motor Insurance Database.
If it isn't, they can seize it immediately - even if you then arrange insurance at the roadside.
Punishments for driving without insurance can include a substantial fine, points on your licence and even a disqualification from driving.
