A Bradford restaurant hit by rising costs has closed its doors.
Bharat Restaurant Bar & Grill on Great Horton Road served up classic dishes from northern India.
Businessman Jasvinder Singh took over the restaurant and takeaway five years ago.
But after the Covid-19 pandemic, business never recovered, Mr Singh said.
He told the Telegraph & Argus: “It didn’t pick up again.
“The costs went up, electric went up, everything, the business was affected quite a bit.
“Unfortunately because of the recession and the gas bills, electric bills, we had no choice but to shut it down. The business had gone down quite a bit.
Mr Singh shared his thanks to customers who had supported Bharat Restaurant Bar & Grill over the years.
The company has now been liquidated on Companies House.
