POLICE will step up their patrols in an area of Bradford where residents have expressed concerns over speeding vehicles.
West Yorkshire Police officers were out on Great Horton Road yesterday (Thursday, April 4) morning conducting a speed watch operation.
It came following several reports from local residents of speeding vehicles in that area.
A post on the West Yorkshire Police - Bradford South Facebook page said: "The local Great Horton ward officer PCSO Wareing has this morning been conducting a speed watch operation on Great Horton Road, close to its junction with Hollingwood Lane.
"This latest operation is in response to several reports from local residents regarding speeding vehicles at this particular location, and also part of our focus on the Fatal 5 during the month of April.
"Officers will also be stepping up patrols in the area and focussing on traffic matters during the month."
