A MAN has been charged after three police officers were allegedly assaulted in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police said officers responded to a report of a robbery allegedly involving a machete in the East Bowling area of the city at around 11.25pm on Monday.
Today, the force said Christopher Irish, 34, of no fixed abode, was charged with assaults on three police officers.
He was also charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, and criminal damage.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court today.
