A GENEROUS businessman in Bradford is helping to put a smile on lonely people's faces during Ramadan.

Imran Khan, owner of IK Collections on Westgate, is inviting those who feel they need some company into his store for a hot drink, a slice of cake and some friendly chat.

Imran said: "It's an open invitation to anyone in Bradford who may be feeling lonely.

"It's a chance to come in and sit down with us for a tea or coffee, a bit of lovely cake and a nice chat.

"It's all free and we just want to try and spread some happiness in these difficult times, and make a positive difference to people's lives.

"It's Ramadan and a big part of Ramadan is being charitable and helping others.

"Giving something back to the community is really important to me and everyone else here at IK Collections, so we look forward to welcoming people."

Imran's kind offer is now in place and will finish at the end of Ramadan, which is expected to be next Tuesday.
