A BRADFORD fundraiser is preparing to pound the streets to raise money for a vital cause.
Nazim Ali, from Manningham, will take part in the Fleetwood Spring 10k run in Lancashire on Sunday - while fasting during Ramadan.
He is running the race in aid of Keighley-based Green Crescent Aid UK's project to build homes for vulnerable families in Afghanistan.
Nazim said: "These homes will improve people's lives.
"Afghanistan is poverty stricken with abject living conditions for hundreds of thousands of people."
Nazim has raised more than £800,000 for charity in the last decade.
He added: "From my previous 10 Ramadan 10K runs I have raised £345,000."
Nazim thanked everyone for their ongoing support and donations.
