A BRADFORD woman must pay £1,000 in compensation following an incident where two dogs were dangerously out of control in a public place.
Helena Fruin, 62, pleaded guilty to counts of being the owner/person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control - no injury, on September 11 of last year.
The charges relate to an incident on Sage Street, on the Canterbury estate involving two huskies - Storm and Shadow - on June 23, 2023.
Fruin, of Robin Street, also on the Canterbury estate, received a community order when her case was heard at Bradford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 19.
She must complete 40 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Court documents say "appropriate control has now been put in place" for both dogs.
