A VEHICLE was seized by police in the Bradford district.
Officers were patrolling Shipley when they came across a Volkswagen last Thursday.
Checks showed the driver was uninsured.
A post on the West Yorkshire Police - Shipley Facebook page read: "On Thursday, officers from Shipley NPT were on pro-active patrols when they stopped the below vehicle, checks conducted showed the driver did not hold the correct cover to drive other vehicles on their own policy, this meant the driver was uninsured.
"Due to this, the vehicle was seized and the driver reported for the offence.
"If you are planning on driving other vehicles, it is advised you check that your policy allows you to drive other cars and that the car you are driving has a valid policy of insurance."
