THREE large jets and an aerial appliance were used by crews tackling a building fire in Bradford.

The blaze occurred in a building on Peace Street, Laisterdyke, which contained waste products.

Firefighters from Bradford and Odsal scrambled to the scene just after 11am on Saturday morning.

A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said: "Building fire containing waste products.

"50 x 25 Metres, 20 per cent of building involved, no exposure risk.

"Three large jets, one ground monitor and two breathing apparatus were used.

"Crews requested aerial to attend."
