BEDS and planters have been built to boost community growing initiatives in parts of Bradford.
As part of Bradford East in Bloom, Council Neighbourhood Wardens, Stronger Communities Team and volunteers from Connect The Dots have taken part in a volunteering action day to bring services together to make a difference in the community.
Several beds and planters were built at the Springdale Community Centre to stimulate interest in community growing initiatives and to create more biodiverse environments.
Neighbourhood Wardens will continue to support Connect The Dots who provide social activity services for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Eccleshill Horticultural Society have also provided some training and knowledge to ensure that those planting have the skills and knowledge to grow their own produce.
