BUSES are being diverted after a city centre road has been closed "due to safety concerns".
First West Yorkshire announced on X, formerly Twitter, at 7.46am that Westgate Eastbound, in Leeds, is shut.
The post said this was "due to safety concerns".
The closure is impacting bus services 14 and 15 - the former runs between Pudsey and Leeds via Armley, while the latter goes between Farnley and Leeds.
A spokesperson for First West Yorkshire said these buses are now diverting via Wellington Street, King Street, East Parade, and Headrow when going towards Leeds city centre, until further notice.
West Yorkshire Police said it has no records for anything in that area and First West Yorkshire said its alerts are advised by local authorities.
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted Leeds City Council for details.
