FIVE arrests were made following a report of attempted burglary in the Bradford district.

West Yorkshire Police Traffic Officer 'brimmers' posted details of the incident, which happened in Shipley, on his X account.

He said the victim's son followed the vehicle containing five males, from the London area, after the reported attempted burglary.

The vehicle was boxed in by police traffic units.

The driver only had a provisional licence and no insurance at all, police said.

Posted at 2.37am, accompanied by a picture of some arrest forms, the post read: "Bradford! Report of attempt burglary in Shipley!

"Victim's son follows vehicle containing five males from London area.

"Vehicle boxed by traffic units and five arrested!

"Driver has provisional licence only and no insurance! To cells."
