ARMED police swooped on Bradford city centre following reports of "males with weapons" today.
Officers said they were called to the city centre shortly after 3pm on Monday (March 4).
Armed officers were scrambled to the area and two males were arrested on suspicion of possessing offensive weapons.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 3.06pm today to reports of males with weapons in Bradford city centre.
"Armed officers were deployed to the area.
"Two males are arrested at the scene for possession of offensive weapons.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
