A BRADFORD man is to stand trial accused of serious sexual offences.

Nigel Barrington Bondswell pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape, one count of assault by penetration, and one count of common assault when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court today.

Bondswell, 60, of Rushmoor Road, Holme Wood, was granted conditional bail to live at his mother’s address in Bradford, and to abide by an electronically-monitored curfew running from 8pm to 7am.

His trial date was set for February 17, 2025.

His Honour Judge Colin Burn told Bondswell: “The offences you are charged with are very serious and if there were a breach of any of those bail conditions it’s quite likely that you would have to be remanded in custody until the trial.”
