THE appearance of a famous actor at The Broadway had to be cancelled due to "health and safety reasons".
Turkish actor Burak Özçivit was due to appear at the Janan Fragrances kiosk inside the Bradford shopping centre on Sunday.
The 39-year-old has starred in several popular Turkish TV shows and has over 25 million followers on Instagram.
He was expected to be at the centre from 3pm until 4pm to promote his new scent Ruler.
But The Broadway announced at 3.44pm on Sunday on its Facebook page that the event had been cancelled.
The shopping centre initially said this was due to "health and safety reasons and advice from the police".
In an updated statement, The Broadway said: "Unfortunately the Burak event at Janan Fragrances had to be cancelled due to health and safety reasons.
"We can only apologise for the disappointment this may of caused."
